Frequently Asked Questions
Everything about what we sell, how sizing works, and what happens after you order.
Product & Authenticity
Is it a first copy?
No — and this is genuinely the question we get asked the most. We don't sell first copies. What we sell is UA (Unauthorized Authentic) and replica product, and there's a real difference. First copies are low-effort, low-quality knockoffs. UA product is built to closely match the materials, construction, and finish of the original design — the goal is that it holds up next to the real thing, not that it's a cheap imitation of it.
What does "UA" mean?
UA stands for Unauthorized Authentic. It refers to product made with a much higher quality standard than a typical replica or first copy — often using comparable materials and manufacturing processes to the original design. It is still an unofficial, unlicensed product, not one made or approved by the original brand.
What's the difference between "UA" and "Replica" on your site?
Replica generally refers to a product made to closely resemble an original design. UA is our higher-quality tier within that — think of UA as the top shelf of replica quality. Every product page makes clear which tier a specific item falls under.
Are these products officially licensed by the brands they're inspired by?
No. KickSpire products are not manufactured, licensed, endorsed, or authorized by the original brand owners. We're upfront about this because we'd rather you order knowing exactly what you're getting.
Will the product look exactly like the photos?
We aim for it. Minor variations in shade or texture can happen between manufacturing batches, the same way they can with any mass-produced item — but our team checks stock against listing photos before it ships.
Sizing & Fit
How do I know what size to order?
Check our Size Guide page — it includes a full conversion chart (US/UK/EU/CM) and a quick way to measure your foot at home if you're not sure of your usual size.
Do these run true to size?
Mostly, yes, but it varies slightly by brand — some Adidas silhouettes run a little snug, and New Balance tends to run true to size or slightly roomier. Our Size Guide breaks this down further.
What if I order the wrong size?
Per our Return & Exchange Policy, we're only able to process returns for items that are defective or damaged on arrival — incorrect size selected at checkout isn't covered, so double-check against the Size Guide before you order.

Shoe Care & Everyday Wear
How long will these last with regular wear?
Like any sneaker, lifespan depends on how often you wear them and on what surfaces. UA product built to a higher quality standard tends to hold up comparably to how the original silhouette would under normal daily use — but hard, abrasive surfaces will wear any sole down faster than the average sidewalk.
Will they crease?
Most leather and synthetic-leather sneakers will develop natural creasing at the forefoot flex point over time — that's normal material behavior, not a defect. Rotating pairs and using shoe trees can slow this down.
How do I clean them?
A soft brush, mild soap, and water works for most materials. Avoid submerging suede or nubuck — use a suede brush and suede-specific cleaner instead. Check our Accessories collection for shoe care kits, wipes, and crease protectors.
Are they comfortable enough for daily wear, or just for looks?
They're built on the same silhouette and general comfort profile as the design they're based on, so day-to-day wear is exactly what they're meant for — not just display pieces.
Do you offer waterproofing or protection treatments?
We recommend a standard sneaker protector spray on suede, nubuck, and canvas materials before first wear — this isn't included but is widely available and works well with our catalog.
